Elder Resources Staff

Elder Resources staff of licensed clinical social workers serves clients throughout eastern Massachusetts.

Our care managers are skilled in a wide range of geriatric care issues including the public health, mental health, and legal issues affecting elders. Our staff also has extensive experience working in community hospitals, assisted living, and nursing home settings.

 

 


Emily founded Elder Resources in 1993.

  • 20+ years experience as a geriatric social worker.

  • Lectures and writes on issues such as housing options for elders, guardianship, caring for aging parents, and ethical issues related to aging.
  • Provides seminars for social workers, attorneys, and consumers.
  • Faculty member for Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education programs such as Protecting Against Elder Abuse and Planning for Older Clients.
  • Former staff consultant to attorneys and clients at ElderLaw Services.
  • Past president of the New England Chapter of the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers.
  • Keynote speaker at 1999 conference of the Boston Society for Gerontological Psychiatry on Dementia: What Really Helps.
